Wind Turbine Operator Instructor (WTOI)

The Wind Turbine Operator Instructor course enables Instructors to teach workers operating in and on wind turbines.

Prerequisites

• Current Rope Rescue Technician (RRT)
• Current Wind Turbine Operator (WTO)
• EMT, Wilderness First Responder (WFR) or equivalent workplace emergency medical certification

Instructor training & assessment

Observe, assist & be assessed by WTO-IT and/or as agreed upon with Rescue 3’s International office

Qualification valid for

2 years

Able to teach

Wind Turbine Access for Emergency Responders (WTAFER)
Wind Turbine Operator (WTO)
