Swiftwater and Flood Rescue Advanced Instructor (SRTAI)

The Swiftwater and Flood Rescue Advanced Instructor pathway is designed for teaching personnel with a swiftwater and rope capability up to Technician level.

Prerequisites

• Swiftwater and Flood Rescue Technician (SRT) (24 hours) at least twice
• Swiftwater & Flood Rescue Technician Advanced (SRTA) (24 hours) at least twice
• Advanced rope capability adequate to teach rope components of this course as assessed by the IT
• EMT or Wilderness First Responder (WFR)

• Professional Qualification Assessment: Water & Rope (PQWR)
• Swiftwater and Flood Rescue Advanced Instructor (SRTAI) course (24 hours)
