Lynn received the Sikorsky Rescue Award as a rescue swimmer during Hurricane Katrina. He has also been deployed to other national disasters such as Hurricane Ike and other flood events. As much as Lynn has influenced national events, he would say his proudest accomplishment is his daughter and the excitement she brings. Lynn and his wife, Dene, have lived in Wimberley since 1992 and are happy to call the Texas Hill Country home.

Carroll’s experiences include Wimberley City Council member, Hays County Fire Marshal and Advanced Peace officer. Although, the accomplishment he is most proud of is his two daughters and their family which include his two new grandsons.
