Co-Worker Rescue at
Heights Instructor (CWRHI)
The Co-Worker Rescue at Heights Instructor course will enable candidates to teach the regulations, legislation and equipment relevant to working at heights, and demonstrate safe systems of work. They will also be able to teach participants how to deal with a colleague who has fallen and is hanging in their fall arrest system.
Prerequisites
- Co-Worker Rescue at Heights (CWRH)
- Current Rope Access for Emergency Responders (RAFER) or Rope Rescue Operator (RRO)
- EMT, Wilderness First Responder (WFR) or equivalent workplace medical certification
Instructor training & assessment
Observe, assist & be assessed by Rope Rescue Instructor Trainer (RR-IT) and/or as agreed upon with Rescue 3’s International Office
Qualification valid for
2 years
Able to teach
Safe Work at Heights (SWAH)
