Recreational Rappel Instructor (RECROI)
The Recreational Rappel Instructor course is for people in the Outdoor Adventure Industry who want to teach the Recreational Rappel Operator course.
Legacy Instructor Qualification – No new Instructor candidates will be accepted into this program. RECRO will be phased out as of December 2023
Prerequisites
- Recreational Rappel Operator (RECRO)
- EMT, Wilderness First Responder (WFR), or equivalent workplace medical certification
Instructor training & assessment
Observe, assist & be assessed by Recreational Rappel Instructor Trainer (RECRO-IT) (pg 169) and/or as agreed upon with Rescue 3’s International Office
Qualification valid for
2 years
Able to teach
Recreational Rappel Operator (RECRO)
