Managing Search Operations (MSO)

This course is aimed at search and rescue instructors and managers who either require a greater understanding of the searching process, or who will be involved with managing searches in water or during flooding incidents. It is pitched at operational and tactical levels, with a balance of theory work in the classroom and practical sessions outside.

• Minimum age: 18
• One of the following certifications:
  • Swiftwater and Flood First Responder (SFR)
  • Swiftwater and Flood Rescue Technician (SRT)
  • Management of Water and Flood Incidents (MWFI)
