Animal Rescue Technician Instructor (ARTI)

The Animal Rescue Technician Instructor pathway is designed for those wishing to teach Rescue 3’s Animal Rescue Technician (ART) courses.

Prerequisites

• Animal Rescue Technician 1 (ART1) twice
• Animal Rescue Technician 2 (ART2)
• Swiftwater and Flood Rescue Technician (SRT)
• Professional Qualification Assessment Water & Rope (PQWR)
• Safe Working in Confined Spaces (SWCS)
• Hazmat Awareness
• EMT or Wilderness First Responder (WFR)

Instructor training & assessment

Observe, assist & be assessed by ART-IT and/or as agreed upon with Rescue 3’s International Office

Qualification valid for

2 years

Able to teach

Animal Rescue Technician 1 (ART1)
Animal Rescue Technician 2 (ART2)
